Data Financial is built by DatabyteiQ, a Dallas-based technology company led by Marina Malvino and Juscelino Diniz, with more than two decades each in data, business intelligence and software.
The technical consulting in business intelligence was decisive for the development of our analytics tool, based on the integration of more than four systems and files.

01What do we need to have in place?
A Microsoft Azure subscription in your organization's name (we can help you create one) and your companies in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks Online connects through Intuit's official API and QuickBooks Desktop through the QuickBooks Web Connector. Data Financial only reads from QuickBooks. It never writes back to your books.
02What if we don't use Azure?
Let's talk. Our first installations run on Microsoft Azure, but Data Financial isn't tied to it. Tell us how your infrastructure is set up and we'll look at the options together.
Start the conversation03Can DatabyteiQ see our clients' data?
Not by default. The application runs in your subscription with your credentials, and we keep no standing access. Disconnecting a QuickBooks company deletes its data from your instance. If you stop, the infrastructure and the data stay with you, and you decide whether to keep or delete them.
04How is it priced?
An annual license per active entity, with support and new versions included, plus a one-time installation. Microsoft bills you directly for the infrastructure, roughly $250 per month at Azure list prices for a standard installation. We don't resell or mark up hosting. AI usage is billed by your AI provider, only if you turn it on. Up to 8 named users are included.

We set a date together in the first meeting. It depends mostly on how many entities you connect and how much history you bring in.
06How does the AI work?
IQ AI is off until you turn it on. When it's on, it uses your own key and budget with your AI provider, answers only about the entity you have selected and cites the numbers it used. Ledger Flags don't use AI at all.
07How do we share results with our clients?
Through scheduled reports. You choose the recipients for each entity, and the Monthly Close set (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, AR and AP Aging) arrives by email in PDF and Excel.
